THE REBELS IN DARFUR
There was no time to celebrate.
During the peace process for
South Sudan another war erupted
in the West of Sudan. Instead of
SPLA, the rebels in Darfur carry
the name SLA, and one of the
opposing forces backed by the
Government is now know as the
Janjaweed. But the result is the
same, burned down villages,
2 million people on the run,
many thousands dead, raped,
or mutilated. Oil in Darfur?
